Accreditation

The college is affiliated to the University of Kerala and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the central agency that approves engineering colleges in India.

NBA accreditation serves the purpose of fostering and acknowledging excellence in technical education. Moreover, the NBA's developmental approach encourages a continuous focus on quality improvement, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of excellence in technical education.

Mahaguru Institute of Technology, Kattachira, Pallickal P.O, Kayamkulam, has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘B+’ Grade during the first cycle accreditation on February 2019. The 39th standing committee meeting of the NAAC Council recommended for accreditation with Grading ‘B+’ to the Mahaguru Institute of Technology during the month of March 2019 which is a reputation to the Institution to assure quality in teaching – learning and Infrastructure.
